Find the executable file.... bg3.exe or bg3_dx11.exe.... right click and run from desktop... BUT BEFORE YOU DO... turn off Steam. Unless your save are on your SSD, you might not have them... but it ran for me... HOURS and HOURS of trying different things... turning off Steam allowed me to run it.Press Windows + E to open your Windows Explorer, navigate to the common folder using the path below, and rename the game folder. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common. Open the Steam application. Visit the Library section. Verify your game list and choose the one that has issues.When I validated it was showing 33 files failed. Allowed them to be fixed and re validated again before even booting up the game. And somehow 54 files failed to validate on the second run. I don't even know how an extra 21 files were corrupted in the time span of literal minutes without booting it up. Hasn't happened only once too..
