JKs, especially later models, do run hot for better emissions. I know I've seen 230 just sitting in traffic with zero load. I normally turn the A/C on which forces the Fan to stay on and the temp drops. Today I noticed 2 things. 1) the little rubber seal on my rear dana 35 pumpkin oozes oil when I press it. 2) the rear differential is really hot (can touch it for about 3 sec before pulling away).Engine Shuts off after warms up.
