When you make a Soul Trap weapon, reduce the duration to 2-3 seconds instead of 5 seconds and you will get 100+ charges. The spider caverns are for trash petty gems purely for leveling enchanting.I had an issue a bit ago with mods causing Soul Trap to not work - the mod in question was Darkerrim No Lighting xbone.
