It's mostly a strength weapon, and you won't gain much past 40arc, but it's rather simple to grab in the DLC. Also the flamesprayer is helpful early on ...If you're planning on going for something like a 50 Strength build, the Whirligig Saw found in the DLC is the best Strength weapon you could ask for, with the +10 version having an S scaling in Strength. Best build is almost certainly quality. 40/40 or 50/50 str/skl allows for a variety of weapons and hefty damage. Whirligig all the way. It's trick mode converts it to a two handed slashing weapon that shoots. You can parry with this weapon in two handed mode. Saw Cleaver ( Strength) - Second weapon of choice. I use this weapon to clear small enemies and the Axe for bosses. This weapon seems to work best for me when it is closed. It has great damage and is very fast. .
